This is a post sponsored by U.S. Cellular. I have received compensation, either monetarily or in product. With that said, the opinions herein are 100% my own. Is music a part of your life? It has been a large part of mine since I can remember. My mom was a singer when she was in her late teens and early 20’s. When I was growing up, we always had music playing in our home. I have done the same. All of my kids love music as much as I do. One of our favorite things to do is attend concerts, especially music festivals.
Over the years, I have learned a thing or two about what to bring to a music festival. You only forget something once before it makes it’s way onto your list of things to bring to the next festival! For a list of what you need to take to your next music festival, read my post, Summer Music Festival Must Have Items. Since technology has become such a presence in our lives, it has worked it’s way into just about every area of what we do.
According to a recent U.S. Cellular survey, nearly four in five consumers use a smartphone to assist them when they travel. Nor would I leave home without downloading these apps! They will help you coordinate your music festival experience in every way imaginable!

With any event, there are always incidental costs. It is so hard to keep up with those fees when you are in a large group. With the Venmo app, you can pay anyone with a Venmo account. You just link your bank account or debit card. The service is secure, and can be used with anyone and is free.
Google Wallet allows users to send or request money from anywhere. Users can receive money directly into their bank account and can send money to others with merely an email address or phone number. Be sure to stay current with U.S. Cellular and follow them on Facebook and Twitter. One USA reader will win a $15 iTunes or Google Play gift card.
