This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of MegaRedĀ®. The opinions and text are all mine. How to live a healthy lifestyle in 5 simple steps are 100% my opinion. My sister and I were talking recently about our younger days. We reminisced about the fun things we did, places we visited and how care free life seemed. We laughed about how different life became after age 35!
Now that we are older, our priorities have shifted. Our focus is on our family and kids instead of being and acting like a kid. In all honestly, I would not trade how life is now for the world. We are currently focused on wellness and how to achieve that as easily as possible. Now we concentrate on how to live a healthy lifestyle in 6 simple steps.
Make Time For Me Time: I make self-care a priority. I meditate and journal in the morning. I count my blessings. I put out positive energy in an effort to bring it back into my life. I have learned to say no, have ended toxic relationships and have learned what matters most and what to let go of.
Make Time For Fun: If we let it, life can sometimes be a drag. It took years for me to just let go and just be me. I love to laugh and be silly. I love to do amazing things with the kids that will be a treasured memory.
I love to chase Elvis the dog and snuggle with Hazel the cat. So go on….dance in the Walmart. Tell a dumb joke you know the kids will love. Breathe. Relax. Smile. Love.
Make Time For Family: When I get wrapped up in work, I can easily work 14 hours a day. When you work that much, what happens to your family time? I found family time beginning to take a back seat.
As corny as it sounds, time goes by so fast. Making memories is so important. Now I close the computer and open myself up to my husband and kids.
Make Time To Move: Exercise was so unimportant to me when I was younger. As you get older, exercise is about more than losing weight. It clears your mind, lifts your mood and strengthens your bones.
Did you know if you lose just 10% of your body weight you can lower your cholesterol and blood pressure and lower your risk for heart disease? Just walking 30 minutes a day or some easy strength training can make a huge difference.
Make Time To Eat Healthy: Type II Diabetes runs in my family. That can be devastating as it puts you at risk for stroke, heart disease and stroke. My brother passed away at age 60 of heart disease related to his diabetes.
You can lower these risks significantly with healthy eating, exercise and weight loss. That is enough to get me motivated! So reach for an apple, discover new vegetables, and cut back on that pasta and bread!
Make Time For Supplements: My mom was big on taking supplements. I am too! It is one of the easiest tips on how to live a healthy lifestyle in 6 simple steps. My daughter teases me when I take my morning supplements. She calls it my breakfast!
One of the most important supplements I take is MegaRed from Walmart. It contains Omega 3s, which are essential nutrients that your body does not produce. It is super difficult to get these nutrients from food alone.
Why do I take MegaRed? Omega 3 fatty acids are like a super power for your body. This fish oil can help reduce your risk for heart disease, depression, dementia, and arthritis. These are all things that run in my family.
When it comes to choosing an Omega 3 supplement, I found they are not all the same. With MegaRed, I get 500 mg of special combination of high concentration Fish Oil and high absorption Krill Oil.
By taking MegaRed MegaRed 4 in 1, I get support for my heart, joints, brain and eyes. By adding MegaRed in my diet, I get 2 X more Omega-3s than standard fish oil alone. So how do I know if I am getting enough Omega 3s?
I went to the MegaRed website and took their quiz. I was also sent a Omega-3 Index home test kit, which was simple and easy to use!
Once I take the test, I put it in the mail and in return, I get very detailed results. You can take this test for FREE at your local Walmart at the Wellness Day Event on 9/22 from 10 am to 2 pm local time. How great is that?
I love that folks who can live a healthier lifestyle with just a few changes in their life. By taking MegaRed and taking this easy to take test, I am amping up my when I follow these tips on how to live a healthy lifestyle in 6 simple steps and so can you!
