This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me by Sweetworks, however, all opinions about these awesome products are all mine. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic. I absolutely love the summer, don’t you? I love that my babies are home from school, so I get to spend some quality time with them before they head back for the new school year.
We try to hang out s a family as much as we can. If we aren’t taking a road trip to visit a local amusement park, the pool, beach or museum, we are having fun in our back yard. I love to throw a BBQ or take the family out for a picnic. I usually take the standard picnic fare; fried chicken, potato salad, watermelon, baked beans and of course, plenty of sweets. If you are planning a similar get away for your family, you may want to make these easy patriotic treats, like my tie dyed cupcakes.
When I pack up the goodies for our picnic or party, I include some of my favorite treats from Sweetworks. I was recently sent a box full of patriotic candies from Sweetworks, so I decided to make some fun table decorations as well one of my super easy patriotic treats, my melt in your mouth fruity tie dyed cupcakes. In my humble opinion, the more flair and sparkle I can add to my picnic, the more fun it is!
Decorating with the patriotic treats from Sweetworks is easy to do as I have everything I need in the cabinets. I packed some wine glasses and filled them with the Individually Wrapped Bright Royal Blue and Apple Red Sixlets® Tubes as well as the Shimmer™ White Sixlets® Party Jar.
For the Red, White and Blue Mix Stars Sweet Shapes™ from Sweetworks, I put those in two tall vases I had from Christmas. These candies are the perfect treat to decorate the picnic table or to make my tummy happy! In the middle, I layered milk chocolate balls and hearts wrapped in red, white and blue foil.
I love the huge selection of sweet treats Sweetworks offers. You can find bubble gum, Sixlets, milk chocolate balls, dark chocolate bars and so much more. The larger items are perfect for snacking or for decorating and the smaller yummies are great for baking. Don’t you just love how all these unique Sweetworks candies add so much fun to the table?
I think they look just brilliant when they are arranged together. I also added my Patriotic Painted Mason Jars to pull the look together. Now for the recipe for my fruity tie dyes cupcakes, which is a family favorite easy patriotic treat. All you need are a few ingredients you probably already have in your pantry!Be sure to follow SweetWorks on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
