Because you definitely show more skin in the warmer months, you need to get your skin ready. That means you need to exfoliate and hydrate! My DIY Essential Oil Lemon Sugar Body Scrub is perfect!
I love to keep sugar scrubs handy in our bathroom. I make it a point to exfoliate my skin at least once a week. My recipe for my DIY Essential Oil Lemon Sugar Body Scrub is effective without being too harsh on the skin.
Most people have issues with exfoliating because they find it too abrasive. My scrub is gentle but still removes those dead skin cells.
Here is a short video slideshow to show you how easy it is to make!

April 5, 2018 at 9:35 amWow! I didn’t realize how easy it was to make a homeade scrub, and so much cheaper than store-bought. I don’t have lemon essential oil, so I will try this with my grapefruit essential oil.

April 6, 2018 at 2:16 amI like having my own ‘spa’ at home to pamper myself and this scrub looks like a good addition. It’s nice that it’s easy and doesn’t have too many ingredients, Some of the homemade recipes I’ve seen for scrubs are an all day affair and that boots them right off my to-do list. Since this one is easy and not expensive to make I’ll make some batches up for the women in the family too just for a treat…it will be a nice little surprise..

April 7, 2018 at 2:01 pmKelly, this looks and sounds so awesome. I used to use an exfoliator that BBW used to make for the body and now it’s discontinued. I used it for my body and face. I find it often hard to find a good exfoliator for the face so I will definitely try it out. Your photos are so helpful!
