There is an expectation in my house so thick, you could cut it with a knife! My family is so excited for Thanksgiving! I love to cook, so it is a joy to make a special meal for them. My guys don’t like turkey, so Caitlin and I have a small breast. The boys get a meatloaf. One thing we all agree on is how much we love dessert! It is only second to the mashed potatoes Caitlin makes that are out of this world!
It’s pie season and what’s more fun than baking your own pie? Eating a pie you baked yourself! But you might be thinking that a whole pie of one flavor is too much. The baking experts at Chicago Metallic understand completely. They’ve brought out two amazing solutions to the problem.
Instead of making one big pie how about making a few smaller ones? This way you can make several different kinds of pies that are the perfect size for dessert. Their Mini Pie Set comes with a cut and press tool to make pie construction easy as…well, pie. The durable pan has a non-stick and easy release coating. And it’s dishwasher safe.
If you still want that slice of pie experience try the Split Decision Pie Pan. With it, you can make two half pies in one tin. Or you can remove the divider to make a whole pie. It’s made from heavy-weight aluminized steel which helps with heat conduction.

November 22, 2017 at 7:10 pmI usually serve several pies at the holiday. The one most requested is Coconut Cream. I have several family members who adore it. I love the idea of serving little, individual pies. These are so pretty. With small pies you could taste more than one.
