This is a sponsored post and I have been compensated. However, all opinions are mine. We have one of those “dollar” movies nearby. What that used to mean is that you could buy a ticket to the movie for $1. Now, it is $2. Still a bargain. On Tuesday, for $5, you get a ticket, a drink and a popcorn! Now, that is a deal! We used to go to the bargain movies at least twice a month. We haven’t been as much as we would like.
One of the most fun moves we saw at the bargain move was The Nut Job. it was hilarious! I am not always one for an animated movie, but this one made me laugh…a lot! When I heard The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature was available on BLU-RAY™ AND DVD today, I could not wait to grab a copy. The kids were thrilled! The movie stars such talent as Will Arnett, Katherine Heigl, Maya Rudolph and Jackie Chan.
Surly Squirrel (Arnett) and the gang are back, returning to Liberty Park after they are forced to leave their easy life at the nut store. Getting back to nature is the last thing Surly wants to do, but when a greedy mayor decides to destroy the park to build an amusement park, Surly and his ragtag critter friends must band together to save the place they call home.
Filled with heart and animal hijinks, this family-friendly comedy introduces new fan-favorite characters including Mr. Feng (Jackie Chan, Kung Fu Panda), the adorable but deadly city mouse, and Frankie, the love-struck bulldog (Bobby Canavale, Ant-Man). The film also features an incredible voice cast including Will Arnett (Lego Batman), Katherine Heigl (“Grey’s Anatomy”), Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids), Bobby Moynihan (“Saturday Night Live”), Isabela Moner (Transformers: The Last Knight), Jeff Dunham (Smurfs: The Lost Village) and Gabriel Iglesias (The Fluffy Movie).
The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature comes packed with exciting bonus content including deleted scenes, special animation and art reels as well as a feature commentary with the filmmakers, giving viewers a peek inside the making of the film and how the characters were brought to life.
BLU-RAYTM, DVD AND DIGITAL BONUS FEATURES:
• Deleted Scene
• Animation Progression Reels: Watch as two key scenes are brought to life, from storyboard and pre-visualization, to final animation, lighting and effects.
• Concept Art Reel: See the concept art that inspired animators to create the world of The Nut Job 2.
• Feature Commentary with Director/Co-Writer Cal Brunker and Producer/Co-Writer Bob Barlen

November 15, 2017 at 2:52 amOh my goodness! This movie looks like it’s going to be SO good! I’m a sucker for movies with animals (and always have been!!). Shoot, I can still remember the first time I watched Old Yeller in grade school and I STILL cry to this day when I watch it.
I think I should stick to the animated ones – but then again Bambi still makes me cry too. LOL! That’s why I’m glad Nutty By Nature is full of laughs!
